Have you tried it yet?

Have you tried it yet?
Umm not yet, but i did read a book about it.
Have you tried it yet?
It just looks so hard, i dont think i can
Have you tried it yet?
Well i watched a documentary about it and i felt really inspired.
Have you tried it yet?
If i can get all this other stuff done, i will.
Have you tried it yet?
Maybe i am not cut out for this.
Have you tried it yet?
I think i would get bored fast.
Have you tried it yet?
So few people are doing it, am i special?
Have you tried it yet?
I dont have any money.
Have you tried it yet?
I am too old
Have you tried it yet?
It will take too long to finish.
Have you tried it yet?

:) great thought man. The answer many times is NO. I have tried it in my "mind" - but not with my actions. Alough it feels like they are the same.. there is such a great space between the two. I think we're both taking the "tried it in my mind"'s and turning them into "tried it."'s. Love you man, have a great time at the beach.

Trent,
Nice. A lot of this stuff is tied up in Diogenes' philosophy. It seems that the crux of what you are trying to get at is synonymous with a lot of his queries. Also, epicureanism? (The old familiar greek philosophy which pretty much became the foundation for western democracy, notions of self, self- determination...) I think it will help flesh out some of this stuff, and may be entertaining. Sorry to recommend something on a blog (not sure of ethics) it's just that there are many similarities between your musings and that of this particular sect of ancient Greeks'.
